When a child loses his parents, he is called an orphan.
When a spouse loses her or his partner, he is called a widow or widower.
When parents lose their child, there isn't a word to describe them.

The following Poem is Dedicated to
The Loving Memory of
JORDAN POOL CHASE
(July 6, 1977 - April 12, 2000)

I thought of you with love today.
But that is nothing new.
I thought about you yesterday,
and days before that too.

I think of you in silence.
I often speak your name.
All I have now are memories,
and your picture in a frame.

Jordan, your memory is my keepsake,
with which I'll never part,
God has you in His keeping,
I have you in my heart.

A million times now,
I have cried... Oh my Jordan
-if love alone could have saved you,
you never could have died.

In life I loved you dearly,
in death I love you still.
In my heart you hold a place,
no one else can ever fill.

It broke my heart to lose you,
but you didn't go alone.
For a part of me went with you,
the day God took you Home...

.... I miss you terribly,
Your loving Aunt Deven & Family

 Jordan isn't related to me,
I felt inspired to make this page for him)
