Guardian Angels
Watching Over
Us
God sends His Guardian Angels
To watch o'er His children here.
It matters not where we may live,
In places far or near.
When you slip upon the ice
And you're sure that you will fall
And someone's there to catch you
When no one's there at all.
You can be sure of this, my friend,
And never have a doubt -
A Guardian Angel sent by God
Was there to help you out.
When you feel that no one cares
And you're sad and lonely, too,
Then suddenly a friend appears
With heart so warm and true.
Some will call it God's sweet grace
Sent by a Guardian Angel
To cheer a lonely place.
Although we cannot see them,
Be assured that they are there
For Heaven's Guardian Angels
Are around us everywhere.
