Not sorry for being alone, but tears of joy that swelled up in my heart and eyes thinking about all the happiness I have had in my life. I love life, and I am still enjoying all sorts of activities in the community where I have lived my entire life. My Greatgrandparents brought their 4 children, young adults really, to Fallbrook in 1880, and lived here until they died in early 1900. My grandmother married and lived here from about 20 years old until she passed away at age 103. My mother was born about a mile from where I live, and she lived there until she married my father and moved a mile further north on the road. She lived in that how where all of us 6 children were born, and we were able to keep her home until she passed away, age 102. I am 74 right now, and intend, if possible, to live here the rest of my life. My children live at the northern end of California, so I don't see them often, but computer world is lots of company, and I have e-mail to comunuicate with all my friends and family. Most of the family have e-mail, so there is lots of mail coming and going. It is wonderful new world that I had never dreamed I would be participating in. I didn't want to get a computer, but, bless them, the kids got it and I have been so happy they did. Enough of all this. I am interested in local and family history, and work at the Historical society here helping to preserve family, and local history. It is a wonderful world, and even though the world is whirling around rapidly , I feel that I am part of it. Don't leave me behind. Wait for me, as I am coming. It does take me longer now to do things, but I get them done, and do a good job, if I do say so. Thanks for your pages, and keep up the good work. I sent them to 10 of my best friends and family. I know they will enjoy them as much as I did, and intend to keep enjoying. I can play my floppy discs, since I recorded them all on it. BYE/ Bye, Margaret Ray |
